Rendering issue in chrome browser on iphone5

Nitesh Aug 27, 2014 02:45AM PDT

The content in chrome browser (mobile) is rendering with an incorrect page width (as if the user is really zoomed out). I have noticed that this issue exists in a few page types. However, in safari the content is responsive and is rendered as desired.
Chrome version used is : 36.0.1985.49

Hi Nitesh,

This appears to be the same issue you raised in the past, and I believe we found a resolution for the problem at that time. If you recall, the resolution:

It seems like maybe there is a viewport tag being injected by one of the scripts in Adobe tag manager. If you change the ‘metaTags’ key for the ‘imageResults’ template to filter out that extra viewport tag like this:

,'metaTags': function () {
      // Necessary for the filter menu to be generated
      // and for the See More button too.
      var tags = $('head meta');
      tags = tags.not('[name=viewport]');
      return tags;

We also provided you with a test preview bundle with those changes made, which we found resolved the issue (see screenshot: and×67un7101u01i3/brides_2.png which was taken today). Can you please try and see if that resolves the issue? If yes, try adding the suggested code snippet above to your project.

We are facing swipe issue in IOS 8 .We were not able to swipe in devices having IOS 8.0.2. We updated the IOS to 8.1.2 and the issue still exists .

Issue: Not able to swipe the images in the carousel. ( Even on other templates, we are unable to swipe)

We had followed the steps below for the IOS8 patch:
Step 1:
Upgrade Mobify Client to 0.3.36
Run `npm -g install mobify-client` in your command line
Note: Mac OS X users may need to run `sudo npm -g install mobify-client`

Step 2:
Create a new bundle
Run `mobify push -m “iOS 8 fix”` from the project directory in your command line

Step: 3
Publish the bundle in Mobify Cloud
Go to and publish your new bundle

However, this did not fix the issue.

Kindly suggest a fix.

Hi Nitesh,

Can you try adding this to your CSS?

.m-carousel .m-item { -webkit-transform: translate(0); transform: translate(0); }

Hope this helps!
